Ews Nsj I recall the period of my life when this album was released fondly and that helped to create a permanent attatchment. I was in a good and safe place mentally, almost too safe. Anyway, I was quite actively scrobbling a lot of music on Last.fm and then when ”Kite” was released I was in so much awe over the beauty I was hearing that I couldn’t listen to anything else but this music at home and in the car for a long time. Every selection on this work is pure bliss for focused ears. It is like a dream one slips into with the help of ”Cherished” minimal ’groove’, delicate dubby echoes and thin warm choral-like pads that wrap the brain like a blanket. The album continues on with such care, each track hypnotizing the listener in its own soothing way with warmer curious sounds. The listener is held frozen in a state of sonic bliss by clever grooves sculpted in a way to invite the deepest dreamstate,...... Highly Recommended. Furthermore, do yourself the supreme audiophile pleasure of experiencing this in headphones. Lay your head back on a soft surface a prepare to fly the Kite in a perfectly imagined world. alexander: "it's our long delayed collaboration with stanislav, we wanted to release it by ourselves, so here it is, maybe not on cd like we hoped it will be, but anyway.

i think, kite has began with my inspiration of stanislavs' works in techno direction - it was deep pulsating sound, tempting to make it subtle, flowing substance, and so our first tracks were born. i believe it was 'cherish' and 'can i touch your hand'. later i've had an opportunity to work with stanislavs' library of sounds, he sampled some old vinyl records, pitchshifted them really down. sometimes it was work with layers, sometimes it was drumprogramming.

we've played together a few gigs in moscow, izhevsk and nizhny novgorod. the last one resulted in making of 'no traces' record, which will be released by infraction records in november 2008.

i would love to thank our friend andrey gorelikov from sevastopol', he helped us so much. it's sad that we werent up to his expectations, we're really tried.

also thank you grigoriy, i think, it's time for us to try something new already.

also i'm amazed with bandcamp service, it's really moving borders closer to listener.
